As I was finally getting over my cold... I ended up with the stomach flu. Last night my stomach started doing flips, and it just got worse.
Today I was supposed to go to my site for school, then the Crisis Nursery (also for school) and work. Well I ended up going to my site for about an hour and a half, and was going to the bathroom every 10 minutes, so I asked my preceptor if I could leave early. He was really nice about it, which was awesome. When I got home I was still feeling really bad, and I wanted to let work know early if I wasn't going to make it in, so I called in and slept for most of the day. I'm still not feeling too hot, but slightly better than I was. At least I had worked on my homework most of the weekend, so I'll just have to touch it up tomorrow before class.
On a side note... I can't wait for the baseball season to start! The opener was postponed today, which is good cause I was passed out, so now I get to watch it tomorrow night hopefully!

Spring is Near :) finally
I just found some Spring Cleaning tips that I found pretty interesting... just thought I'd share.
- Use a denture-cleaning tablet to fizz away cloudiness inside vases where hands can't reach.
- To remove rust stains or lime buildup from dishwashers, put an envelope of lemon Kool-Aid in the soap dispenser and run a normal cycle (without dishes).
- Get a spa treatment while you clean: slather a thick layer of your favorite oil or lotion on your hands before putting on rubber gloves. By the time the house is clean, your skin is hydrated and baby soft.
- Think twice before you throw away those used dryer sheets. They're great as furniture polishing clothes, remove static from clothing and hair, and are quick-and-easy fresheners for stored books, shoes, and clothes.
So spring break has come and gone... unfortunately. It doesn't even really feel like I had a week off, maybe a long weekend. And of course it's right back to it... this week we have a huge test, another test next week, two the week after that, a big test and a final the following week and then the rest of finals after that... at least summer vacation is right around the corner, we really only have about a month left of classes.
Easter was pretty good. The snow was a little crazy, as well as the sleet. And everytime the sun came up the temp went up like 5 degrees, and then was back down as soon as it hid behind the clouds.
And now I've caught another cold... fun fun.

Family
So Spring Break has been pretty uneventful, and I haven't gotten nearly as much accomplished as I had hoped.
Last weekend was a lot of fun. On Saturday, we celebrated Grandpa's 80th bday! No pics yet... my computers being touchy... We went to Grappa Grill in St. Charles and had a privite room. It was great to see everyone, especially those who came from out of town.
And on Sunday we got together at Aunt Linda's for the March Bday's since everyone was in town. It was hilarious by the end of the night, when Mom, Aunt Lori, Aunt Jackie, Aunt Katie, Dad, Uncle Glen and Grandpa (I know the order seems random, but that's how they were sitting... my OCD coming out again :) were reminsicing! They were all laughing so hard they were crying... Mom had soda shoot out her nose, it was a lot of fun to listen to. I heard someone (they were arguing over who) fell asleep in their mashed potatoes, and all the girls but Mom had to go and get pixie cuts at the Barber shop! LOL apperently that's totally different than getting them at a beauty shop, and Mom was the spoiled one who didn't have to cut her hair, cause she had 4 older sisters who could brush it.

Starting Over
So I've been slacking on the whole blogging thing, but hey I'm a broke (money and time :) ) college student! But thought it was time for a change, and another shot at this blog thing.
So here goes.
Life has been super busy. Between school, work, Rich, and my family my time is pretty much spent. But it's been amazing! I'm doing well in school, but looking foward to graduation. I'm still loving work, and the more I learn at school the more I love my job. I love being able to open a stock medication bottle and know what it's being dispensed for! Rich and I are still doing well, one year strong! And my family is as awesome as ever! Everyone will be getting together in a few days for my grandpa's 80th birthday! Amazing! And the boys get cuter every day!!!
What I'm most excited about this very moment is my new furniture! Mom and Dad bought me a new bed (so that I could stop sleeping on my mattress on the floor, lol), dresser, etc. I LOVE it!
Also I found out I need reading glasses because I have a mild astigmatism in my right eye... I had no idea. But the glasses I got are soo cute! I love them!
